The future of boat transport is here! As a successful German engineering company, we, C-Pack, proudly present our new product, the self-driving SEFABO boat trailer, which revolutionizes the way boats are moved.
Many boat owners know the problem: despite having property near the water, launching the boat is a tedious task. You have to hitch the boat trailer to the tow hitch, drive to the nearest ramp, launch the boat into the water, park the car and trailer, and later repeat the process in reverse. This is hardly feasible for one person alone and often too time-consuming for a short boat trip. Leaving a boat in the water is also not an option as it is not secure and is exposed to contamination by mussels, algae, and birds.
Our CEO, Jörg Czepluch, an experienced mechanical engineer and passionate boat owner, turned this problem into a virtue. Thus, SEFABO was born, an everyday practical boat trailer with its own drive, allowing him to drive his boat from his property directly to the nearby sea. After years of development, extensive testing, and continuous optimization, we have now brought SEFABO to market maturity. A unique concept for anyone with property near the water.
SEFABO is an exceptional trailer with its own motor drive, allowing boat owners to effortlessly transport their boats from their property to the shore and directly into the water—without external towing vehicles or strenuous moving of a conventional trailer.
Time and effort savings in one
With our SEFABO, one person can effortlessly and in no time launch their boat. SEFABO saves time and significantly simplifies the boat launching process. SEFABO is moved with a hydraulic control system, similar to crawler vehicles. This enables unmatched maneuverability, allowing the user to precisely control the trailer including the boat, whether on flat ground or challenging terrain. Thanks to the crawler drive, the boat can even be moved very accurately in a small space or rotated 360 degrees on the spot.
The boat trailer is available in three sizes and designed for boats weighing from 1.5 to 3.5 tons. In our online configurator, customers can assemble the appropriate model to meet their needs.
Sufficient power that moves
Our SEFABO features a robust motor with enough power to effortlessly move the trailer including the boat even on steeper inclines. The standard VANGUARD engine of the 16.0 HP V-Twin series offers low emissions and superior running smoothness with optimal engine cooling.
We are continuously working on further developments to enhance the customer experience and cater to our customers’ individual wishes. In the future, we will also offer an electrically powered SEFABO and a trailer version for customers without property by the water, allowing them to launch their boats anywhere.

The simple operation allows for spontaneous short trips to launch the boat. SEFABO is also suitable for rescue services that need to launch boats in inaccessible areas and can be transported on a trailer.

With SEFABO, the valuable boat can be easily and safely parked on land, especially in regions without a slipway or nearby harbor. SEFABO creates a safe haven on land without the need for a private dock, which often requires maintenance and repair. This enables cost-efficient and straightforward boat storage on land, reducing maintenance costs.
Our SEFABO is currently available in sizes of 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 tons (gross vehicle weight), covering most commercial boats for private use. Each trailer is handmade in Germany and can be customized to your individual wishes.
